You will engage with outward looking academic leaders who value:
  • engaging with fellow administrators who perform a similar role in other colleges
  • exchanging practices around issues you similarly face, and sharing learning opportunities unique to your challenges
  • expanding your network, and opening opportunities to collaborate with administrators from other colleges on an on-going basis
Open to those whose responsibilities include:
  • the planning, development, delivery, and financial viability of academic programs
  • and/or the management and administration of full and part-time faculty and support staff, and students
  • and whose titles might include Chair, Associate Dean, Associate Chair, Academic Manager or Program Manager

9:30 am –10:30 am Meet your colleagues.
10:30 am - 12:00 pm  PD  - College Employer Council on emerging issues, strategies for managing with the collective agreement.
12:00 pm –12:45 pm Networking Lunch
12:45 pm – 2:45 pm Practice sharing and identifying common challenges/successes that might lead to next steps; case studies
2:45 pm – 3:00 pm Wrap up/Next steps

Public Transit Directions to Progress

By Rapid Transit between 7 am and 11 pm weekdays, exit at Scarborough Centre station and take the 134C Progress bus to the campus.
From Warden Station on weekdays, take the 102A Markham Rd. bus to the campus.
By GO Transit, on weekdays, take the Hwy 407 Express GO Bus. The bus comes into Progress Campus. Contact GO transit for schedule and route details.
