Compensation Guidelines

OCASA’s submission to the College Employer Council, recommends 1.75% grid adjustment for admin not currently captured by the “designated executive” (as defined in the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act, 2012) and a focus on developing strategies to address salary compression for chairs and paybands 5-8. Recommendations will be released to colleges by October 24 and OCASA will share these with members as soon as they are released to us, likely by November 7.

Each year OCASA makes a submission to the College Employer Council, as well as holding regular consultations throughout the year.
